Data Deletion

Last updated: October 19, 2026

OneKit is operated by AI Squads LLC, a California limited liability company ("we," "us," or "our"). This page explains how to delete the data OneKit stores about you — both the data tied to your OneKit account and the data OneKit holds for any third-party services you have connected (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube, and Google). You are always in control of your data and can delete it at any time using the options below.

Option 1 — Disconnect a service (instant, self-serve)

The fastest way to delete the data OneKit stores for a single connected service is to disconnect it inside the app:

  1. Open the OneKit desktop app.
  2. Go to the tool where the service is connected (for social accounts, open the Repurpose page; for Gmail, open the Email tool).
  3. Click Disconnect next to the account you want to remove.

Disconnecting immediately and permanently deletes all data OneKit stored for that connection — including OAuth access and refresh tokens, your platform user ID, and your display name. Where the platform provides a token-revocation endpoint (X/Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube/Google), OneKit also revokes the token with the platform. For Instagram and Facebook, which do not offer a programmatic revoke endpoint, the stored token and identifiers are deleted from our systems and you can additionally remove OneKit under your Instagram/Facebook Apps and Websites settings.

Option 2 — Delete your entire OneKit account (instant, self-serve)

Delete your account in the app:

  1. On the desktop app: Settings → You → Delete account…, then type DELETE.
  2. On the phone app: Settings → More → Delete account, then confirm twice.

What goes, right away and for good:

  • Your account and what you stored in it: chats, notes, contacts, email drafts and records, social posts, meeting transcripts and notes, and usage data.
  • Your notes, pages, files and recordings, including what you added to a team or community, and the videos you published from Studio.
  • Your websites, your app databases, and your Market listings.
  • The keys OneKit kept for your connected services. OneKit also ends your bank links at Plaid and your Sign in with Apple at Apple.
  • Your subscription. It ends at once, and you aren't charged again.
  • Workspaces you were alone in. A shared workspace you lead goes to its next admin or member. On the phone you can pick who, or delete a group. If only guests are left, it's deleted.
  • What the app kept on that device.

What stays:

  • Payment records. Stripe keeps your invoices and charges, as the law requires. OneKit keeps a record of credit packs you bought (amount and date, without your name) to answer refunds.
  • A record of signature requests you already sent: who signed and when, without your name. The PDFs are deleted with your account, so download any you need first. Drafts you never sent are deleted.
  • What belongs to a team or community you were in, such as its sites, its forms, and recordings of its talks. Your messages there show as "Deleted account", with the words removed.
  • Your sign-ups and uploads on sites and apps other people made with OneKit. Those belong to the site's owner.
  • The access you gave Google, Meta, and other services. OneKit deletes its keys, but the service lists OneKit until you remove it there. To end it there too, disconnect each service first (Option 1) or remove OneKit in that service's settings.
  • The OneKit folder on your Mac (~/OneKit). It holds your own documents, so the app leaves it for you to keep or delete.
  • Copies kept by the AI providers OneKit uses, such as pictures and videos you made with Media. Each provider deletes them under its own rules.
  • A file our storage provider can't delete right away. OneKit keeps trying until it's gone.
  • Rarely, a video our video provider can't delete at that moment. OneKit no longer links to it.

If you no longer have the app, email support@onekit.co from the email address on your account with the subject "Data Deletion Request" and we will do it for you within 30 days, confirming by email once it is done.

Deletion may be limited only where reasonably necessary to resolve a dispute, prevent fraud, or comply with law, and we will say so when we respond.

Deleting Instagram & Facebook data specifically

OneKit connects to Instagram using the Instagram API with Instagram Login and stores only what is needed to publish on your behalf: an access token, your Instagram user ID, and your username. OneKit does not store your Instagram media, followers or direct messages.

If you chose "Connect with stats", the same access token also lets OneKit read your account's and posts' numbers (followers, reach, views, likes, comments, saves, shares, profile visits) to show them to you. If you are a member of a OneKit space whose app keeps Instagram numbers, OneKit also saves them once a day in your own tables there: a row per day, and a row per recent post with its date, link and the start of its caption. Disconnecting Instagram deletes the token and every number OneKit saved for you, usually within minutes; so does a deletion request by email, or Meta's data deletion callback when you remove OneKit on Instagram.

For a Facebook Page, OneKit stores the Page ID, the Page name and an encrypted Page access token for each Page you connect, and nothing from your personal Facebook profile. Disconnecting the Page on the Repost Accounts page (in the app or at onekit.co/repost) deletes all three.

To delete this data you can either:

  • Disconnect Instagram from the Repurpose page in the app (Option 1 above), which deletes it instantly; or
  • Email support@onekit.co with the subject "Instagram Data Deletion Request" and we will delete all stored Instagram/Facebook data within 30 days and confirm by email; and
  • Optionally remove OneKit directly from Instagram/Facebook via Settings → Apps and Websites on the respective platform.
